A yawn, a big sigh of relief, a deep breath... we breathe all day long but some breaths are more special than others. Why not use that to our advantage?


When you're ready to relax, press play to do a special breathing exercise with me that will leave you more relaxed than ever:


If you rather go solo on this exercise, follow these steps:

  • First we take a deep sigh, and then start:

  1. Inhale into the nose for 4 seconds - exhale out through the nose for 4 seconds

  2. Repeat 5 times

  3. Inhale into the nose for 4 seconds - exhale out through the nose for 5 seconds

  4. Repeat 3 times

  5. Inhale into the nose for 4 seconds - exhale out through the nose for 6 seconds

  6. Repeat 3 times

  7. Inhale into the nose for 4 seconds - exhale out through the nose for 7 seconds

  8. Repeat 3 times

  9. Inhale into the nose for 4 seconds - exhale out through the nose for 8 seconds

  10. Repeat 3 times

  • Let go of your grip on the breath.

  • Keep this sense of relaxation with you for the rest of your day.
